Detail Itinerary

Day 1 | Paro – Jele Dzong

Drive to the starting point and begin a gradual ascent to Jele La Pass. Continue to Jele Dzong, a historic fortress set on a scenic ridge.

Day 2 | Jele Dzong – Jangchulakha

Trek through alpine forests of rhododendron with panoramic mountain views. Camp near a traditional yak herder’s settlement.

Day 3 | Jangchulakha – Jimilang Tsho

Cross Jangchu La Pass and descend to Jimilang Tsho (Sand Ox Lake), known for its giant trout and stunning surroundings.

Day 4 | Jimilang Tsho – Simkota Tsho

Follow trails through dwarf rhododendron forests and past yak camps to reach Simkota Tsho, another beautiful high-altitude lake.

Day 5 | Simkota Tsho – Thimphu

Cross Phume La Pass with panoramic Himalayan views. Visit Phajoding Monastery before descending to Thimphu and transferring to your hotel.
