Detail Itinerary
Day 1 | Arrival in Paro
Arrive in Bhutan and explore Paro’s highlights including Paro Dzong, National Museum, and the CSI Market.
Day 2 | Flight to Trashigang
Fly to eastern Bhutan and visit Trashigang Dzong or enjoy a short hike with scenic valley views.
Day 3 | Trashigang Excursions
Visit Radi village known for weaving, explore local crafts, or take optional excursions to Sakten or Trashiyangtse.
Day 4 | Trashigang – Autsho via Mongar
Drive west through beautiful landscapes. Stop in Mongar to visit the Dzong and explore the town.
Day 5 | Lhuentse Excursion
Visit Lhuentse, the ancestral home of Bhutan’s royal family, and explore Khoma village famous for kushuthara textiles.
Day 6 | Autsho – Yongko La
Enjoy a relaxed morning. Visit Jarung Khashor Chorten and enjoy birdwatching near Shongar Dzong.
Day 7 | Yongko La – Bumthang
Cross Thrumshing La Pass and enter Bumthang. Visit Ura Valley and the sacred Burning Lake.
Day 8 | Bumthang Sightseeing
Explore Bhutan’s spiritual heart including Jambay Lhakhang, Kurjey Lhakhang, Tamshing Monastery, and Chamkhar town.
Day 9 | Bumthang – Phobjikha Valley
Travel via Trongsa and visit the Royal Heritage Museum. Continue to the scenic Phobjikha Valley.
Day 10 | Phobjikha – Punakha
Drive to Punakha Valley. Visit Chimi Lhakhang, local nunneries, and Talo village.
Day 11 | Punakha Exploration
Visit Punakha Dzong, hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten, and explore Bhutan’s longest suspension bridge.
Day 12 | Punakha – Thimphu
Travel via Dochula Pass and enjoy Himalayan views. Continue to Thimphu.
Day 13 | Thimphu Sightseeing
Visit Buddha Dordenma, Takin Preserve, Simply Bhutan, local markets, and cultural sites.
Day 14 | Thimphu – Paro
Return to Paro. Visit Drukgyel Dzong and Kyichu Lhakhang.
Day 15 | Tiger’s Nest Excursion
Hike to Taktsang Monastery or enjoy a shorter hike with panoramic views.
Day 16 | Departure
Transfer to Paro International Airport for departure.
