Detail Itinerary

Day 1 | Paro – Thimphu

Arrival at Paro International Airport. Meet your guide and transfer to Thimphu (1.5-hour drive). Evening at leisure.

Day 2 | Thimphu Exploration

Visit key cultural sites including:

  • National Library
  • Institute of Zorig Chusum (Traditional Arts School)
  • Royal Textile Academy

Experience Bhutan’s rich heritage and craftsmanship.

Day 3 | Thimphu – Punakha

Drive via Dochula Pass (3,100m) with stunning Himalayan views. Continue to Punakha and explore the valley.

Day 4 | Punakha – Paro

Hike to Khamsum Yueley Namgyel Chorten, built for peace and protection. Later drive back to Paro.

Day 5 | Paro – Taktsang Excursion

Hike to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery, dramatically perched on a cliff. This is the spiritual highlight of the journey.

Day 6 | Departure

Transfer to Paro International Airport for your onward journey.
